| #41: Friday the thirteenth |

It's Friday the 13th. Indeed.
Such rotten luck for the capricious weather when our class had this outdoor activity organised for CCN Day - Street soccer competition. No offense to anyone in particular, but standing on the point of view as a person who is actively involved in events planning in church, I feel that this whole event is a failure. Not that the idea was bad, but I supposed there was some communication breakdown somewhere between the organisers.
Firstly, conflicting ideas won't work if organisers cannot meet eye to eye and are stubborn in their stands. Secondly, i'm very upset that the organisers never take into consideration of the whole point of what we were doing today. Fundraising? I feel like it's more on a giveaway than a fundraiser. Yes, $100 as the champion token is definitely appealing. If I were a boy who is a mediocre soccer player, why not pay $25 for the competition and have a possible win of four-times-back-my-money token. $50 is a big enough for first runner up prize, let's not talk about a hundred bucks. And mind you, we're talking in terms of a fundraising carnival. I'm not being stingy or anything, but look if it was for charity, why must I really go the extra mile to appeal to the players with prizes? We barely made a profit of $70. Our drinks were rotting in the icebox. Unknown idiots helped themselves with the drinks for free. Not once, but consecutive times. 100 plus now, Red Bull for another round. Why bother stopping them? Take all they want. It doesn't really matter. It doesn't matter to Mr Selvan either. Everyone in class contributed $5 (5 x 20 = 100) to start the capital for the game. If I knew this would happen, we should have donated that what we've collected instead. Why bother wasting our precious time for one event.
And to you-know-who erh hem, seriously, get a grip of your temper. It's really annoying to see anyone throwing tantrums, bickering over trivial matters, having the tendency to pick up a fight. Grow up, really, grow up. Bad organising and whoever has the cheek to show sour face and be pissed with anybody should really slap his/her own face. Go on, slap your face. Stop being behaving immaturely. No one is gonna sympathise you because you don't have good anger management.
Nevertheless, I still want to commend on the hard work everyone put in despite of the not very successful planning. No one's to be blamed :)
CCN Day is such a wreck. It's wrecking my whole body cause i've running in and out of the rain, and standing on the dirt patch isn't very pleasant. I think the ants dug a cave somewhere on my body and i'm itching all over the place now.
